This kind of joint is commonly implemented on DeSox and DeNox fume treatment plants, absorbers, ventilators, chimney stacks, and even on other equipment installed in corrosive environments.

Remarkable chemical and physical properties of Viton B™ (extensively described in technical documents, internationally available), allow the use of these joints in high acid condensation areas due to the low temperature of the fluid process.

Moreover, Viton B™ can work continuously or temporarily up to 205°C, even with a higher peak temperature.

Viton B™ BBV TECH expansion joints have an extremely high mechanical resistance, due to inner single or multiple metallic reinforcements that, according to their implementation, can be made of fiberglass, aramid fiber, or alloyed steel.

Viton B™ expansion joints can be supplied by BBV TECH, whether with horizontal flanges (belt type expansion joint), or vertical flanges (integrally flanged expansion joint). Regarding the on-site vulcanization, they can also be designed with open or close rings with loose ends.
