Axial in-line balanced expansion joints

are usually manufactured by three bellows. The middle one has a larger diameter and is equipped with a tie rod, which is able to balance the pressure thrust, so that only lateral movements are allowed.

They resist pressure thrust caused by internal pressure.

They can be used when there are no direction changes on the pipeline, replacing the most common axial expansion joint.

They are also suitable to compensate linear expansions when the fixing points of pipes are not economically and structurally achievable.

Moreover, they can also be manufactured with steel bellows or special alloys, according to their use, for example AISI 316Ti, AISI 310, HASTELLOY, INCONEL, AVESTA 904L, MONEL 400, INCOLOY, and with the ends in special materials like CORTEN, A335 P11, A333 Gr.6 and others upon request.
